Calloway Stables Hits One Out of the Park


When lifelong friends Tyler Alexander and Clint Joiner founded Calloway Stables in 2014, they could never have imagined that a short five years later, the third foal born to their fledgling operation—a chestnut 3-year-old named Plus Que Parfait—would be poised to start in the 2019 Kentucky Derby Presented by Woodford Reserve (G1). BloodHorse MarketWatch spoke to Joiner and Alexander about their operation, why it's important to encourage people to get involved in racing, and their hopes for Plus Que Parfait on the first Saturday in May.
