LOUISVILLE, Ky. —

The field for this year's Kentucky Derby features an International Man of Mystery: Plus Que Parfait.

His name is French–it means "more than perfect."

His trainer is Irish–Brendan Walsh hails from Southeast Ireland.

His biggest win came in Dubai–the $2.5 million UAE Derby, which netted him 100 qualifying points.

And no one knows what it all means for the May 4 race.

The debate begins with how to pronounce his name. According to Walsh, its "Ploo-kay-par-fay." French jockey Florent Geroux says it's "Ploos-kuh-par-fay." Churchill Downs will let you bet on him with either pronunciation, but should you?
